Decades of GEC in one room
Keynotes
Three legends of GEC take the stage.
Politics, space and cinema: three alumni who went on from the Thrissur campus to the front rank of their fields, back in one room to talk about where it all began and where it goes from here.

T G Ravi
Veteran movie artist
Four decades and hundreds of films in Malayalam cinema, and still the engineer from Thrissur when he is among alumni.

Padma Bhushan Dr K Radhakrishnan
Former Chairman, ISRO
Led the Indian Space Research Organisation through the years that put an Indian orbiter around Mars. A GEC engineer first.

V T Balram
MLA
One of the most recognisable political voices to come out of GEC, and a regular at alumni gatherings back home. He closes the keynotes.
In memoriam
This year, Reminiscence is about remembering Sanjeev.
An evening this big was always his dream. Sanjeev Kumar was one of TECBANG’s strongest members for many years, and his loss has left a void in all our hearts. We dedicate this evening to Sanjeev and his family.
The night closes with Melodies in Memoriam, TECBAND’s tribute to him.
The music
Two bands, two sets, and dinner served alongside.
Once the talks are done the bands take over. The students play first, then the alumni band closes the night with the tribute the whole evening is named for.

Melodies in Memoriam
A musical tribute to Sanjeev Kumar
TECBAND is the alumni band, formed in 2012 by GEC graduates who never stopped playing together. Sanjeev sang with them, and the set they close the night with is built from the songs he loved and sang.
Expect the room to sing along.

Notes Through Time
A live musical showcase
ISAI is the band formed by the students of GEC, and this is the campus as it sounds today. Their set runs across the decades in the room, from the songs the 1960s batches will know by heart to the ones the 2020s brought with them.
The buffet is served through both sets.

Champions
Celebrate the success of Tecbang Premier League.
TPL 2026 was one long day of football: batches drawn into teams, the first whistle early in the morning, and a final played out under the lights close to midnight. On the night we celebrate the league, and everyone who lasted the day.
Then the felicitation. The GEC side went on to win the KEA football championship, the tournament of the Kerala Engineers’ Association, and the champions take the stage in their colours.

The Alumni Exchange
A fireside chat with our distinguished alumni.
